After a gap of nearly a decade, the Damoh District Central Cooperative Bank (DCCB) in Damoh has sanctioned its first vehicle loan, marking a significant milestone in the bank’s renewed credit outreach efforts.
The development is being seen as a major step toward strengthening regional development and deepening financial inclusion in the district.
By reviving its vehicle loan portfolio after 10 years, the bank has signalled a fresh commitment to supporting individual borrowers, small entrepreneurs and rural customers with accessible credit facilities.
General Manager Abhishek Mohan Vyas stated that several more loan proposals are currently under process and are expected to be approved in the coming weeks. He emphasized that the bank is actively working to expand its lending activities and enhance customer services across the district.
