A team of 11 staff members from Kerala-based ESAF Cooperative visited Peerumedu on Tuesday to undertake voluntary service under the Snehaveedu (House of Love) project.

During the visit, the team actively participated in various stages of house construction, contributing both physical labour and technical support. The hands-on involvement reflected ESAF Cooperative’s strong commitment to community welfare and inclusive development.

The Snehaveedu project aims to provide safe and dignified housing to economically weaker sections, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas, thereby strengthening social security and improving living conditions.

Staff members described the experience as deeply fulfilling, emphasizing the importance of direct engagement in grassroots development initiatives.

ESAF Cooperative stated that it will continue to support similar community-driven initiatives.
