National Cooperative Organics Limited is playing a key role in strengthening India’s organic value chain by providing institutional support for the aggregation, certification, and marketing of organic products through cooperatives. The organisation has built an extensive national network, with 11,823 primary agricultural credit societies and other cooperative societies enrolled as members.

NCOL markets its products under the ‘Bharat Organics’ brand, which aims to ensure reliable access to certified organic food for consumers while offering better market opportunities for organic farmers. At present, 28 organic products are available under the brand, covering a range of essential food items.

A strong emphasis has been placed on quality assurance, with all products undergoing 100 percent batch testing for more than 245 pesticides in accredited laboratories. This rigorous testing framework is designed to build consumer confidence and ensure compliance with national and international organic standards.

Through its cooperative-led model, NCOL is contributing to farmer income enhancement, consumer trust, and the broader objective of Sahakar Se Samriddhi by empowering cooperatives across the organic agriculture value chain.
