Senior cooperator H K Patil has been re-elected unopposed as the President of the Karnataka State Cooperative Urban Banks Federation, continuing his leadership of the apex body representing urban cooperative banks in the state. B S Paramashiviah was also elected unopposed as the Vice-President for another term.
The election to the posts of President and Vice-President was held on Monday.
H K Patil, a seasoned cooperative leader and Chairman Emeritus of NAFCUB, has played a significant role in strengthening the urban cooperative banking network in Karnataka by promoting sound governance, financial discipline, and regulatory compliance.
Under his leadership, the federation has actively engaged with regulators and the state government to address key challenges faced by urban cooperative banks and to support their sustainable growth and development across the state.
