As part of a social welfare initiative, blankets were distributed to needy citizens and Scheduled Tribe farm labourers in Amreli to help them cope with the winter cold. The programme aimed at providing immediate relief to vulnerable sections and reinforcing the cooperative sector’s commitment to social responsibility.
Addressing those present, organisers appealed to the public and institutions to extend support to underprivileged families, stressing that collective efforts are essential to ensure that no one is left behind during harsh weather conditions.
The event was attended by several prominent cooperative and civic representatives, including Amreli Dairy chairman Ashwinbhai Savaliya, Rajeshbhai Mangrolia, former Amreli municipality president Chandubhai Ramani, and members of Team Sahakar.
