The Central Government has issued a notification related to the post of Chairman of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). As per the notification, Meenesh Shah, who is presently serving as the Chairman of NDDB, will continue to hold the position.
Meenesh Shah is also the Managing Director of NDDB. The notification clarifies that he will remain Chairman from the date of assumption of charge and will continue in the post until he reaches the age of 65 years or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
The decision has been taken under the provisions of the National Dairy Development Board Act, 1987. To formalise this, the government has amended an earlier notification issued on May 15, 2025.
NDDB plays an important role in strengthening India’s dairy sector and supporting milk producers and dairy cooperatives across the country.
