Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah paid rich tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the symbol of national unity and architect of a strong India, on his death anniversary.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Shri Amit Shah recalled that despite numerous adverse circumstances, Sardar Patel successfully unified a fragmented independent India and laid a strong foundation for a robust nation. He noted that as the country’s first Home Minister, Sardar Patel dedicated his life to ensuring the security of the nation, maintaining internal stability, and establishing lasting peace.
Highlighting Sardar Patel’s contribution to the cooperative sector, Shah said that Sardar Patel inspired the revival and strengthening of the cooperative movement in India. Through the empowerment of farmers and women, Sardar Patel laid the foundation for a self-reliant India, a vision that continues to guide the nation even today.
Amit Shah emphasized that Sardar Patel’s ideals and commitment to putting the nation first will remain a guiding force, like a beacon, for future generations in building a strong, united, and cooperative-driven India.
