Vijaya Dairy plans major boost in Milk Procurement
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Telangana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd (TDDCF), which markets milk under the Vijaya Dairy brand, has decided to scale up milk procurement to six lakh litres per day in the coming months, up from the current 4.4 lakh litres per day, media reports say.

TDDCF Chairman Gutha Amith Reddy said that while daily sales stand at about 3.2 lakh litres, the surplus milk is being efficiently utilised for producing value-added dairy products.

Addressing a conference on “Innovations and Opportunities in Dairy Entrepreneurship: From Farm to Market,” jointly organised by FTCCI and the Indian Dairy Association, he emphasised that strengthening milk procurement and expanding market absorption are key priorities.

The move is expected to support dairy farmers, enhance cooperative incomes and boost dairy entrepreneurship across Telangana.
