Dombivli Nagari Sahakari (DNS) Bank has achieved a significant milestone with its entry into Madhya Pradesh, inaugurating two new branches in rapid succession.
After opening its first branch in Ujjain, the Bank has now launched a new branch in Indore, marking a strong and strategic expansion in the state.
To commemorate this growth, DNS Bank, in association with Sahakar Bharati- Indore Mahanagar, organised an interactive conclave titled “Sahakarya Setu.” The event brought together representatives from 11 co-operative banks and several credit societies from Ujjain and Indore.
Key speakers, including Shri Milind Arolkar, Director, Maharashtra State Urban Co-operative Banks Federation, and Shri Rishiraj Sisodiya, President, Madhya Pradesh Co-operative Bank Association, highlighted the importance of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and collective strength within the cooperative banking sector. Sessions covered women’s empowerment, digital transformation, consortium financing, and grassroots banking.
A major outcome of the conclave was the willingness of 11 participating co-operative banks to sign an MoU with DNS Bank to form a Co-operative Consortium Forum, bringing 12 institutions onto a single platform-a landmark step for the region.
DNS Bank Chairman Adv. Ganesh Dhargalkar expressed confidence that the Bank’s expansion will strengthen cooperative banking and promote inclusive, technology-driven financial services across Madhya Pradesh.
