Dr. Amrita Patel Chairman National Dairy Delelopment Board has decided to resign her chairmanship. She has been associated with the board for the last 15 years.
After Vergese Kurien the father of white revolution, she has been managing the board. Dr. Patel’s present tenure would end in Nov. 2013.
Dr. Patel has informed Prime Minister and Union Agriculture Minister of her decision to leave her job. She has desired a search for her successor to be undertaken.
Readers could recall that Amrita Patel was protégé of Kurien in the beginning but later she chose to stride her independent course much to the chagrin of later.
