In a landmark step toward digital transformation, Maharashtra-based Dombivli Nagari Sahakari (DNS) Bank has unveiled its official UPI handle @okdnsbank, becoming one of the few cooperative banks in India to offer its own UPI services. The initiative reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to innovation and inclusive digital banking.
The launch took place at the Global Fintech Festival 2025 in the presence of DNS Bank’s Board of Directors, office bearers, and senior officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the bank’s Director, Milind Arolkar, said, “This is a transformative moment for DNS Bank and for the cooperative banking sector. Our goal is to extend secure, modern, and inclusive digital banking services to every community.”
DNS Bank also invited other cooperative banks to collaborate and adopt QR-based payment solutions under its official UPI handle, promoting a unified and secure digital payments ecosystem within the cooperative sector.
