IFFCO has recently announced two key appointments, with Tarun Bhargava taking over the charge of Co-operative Relations and PK Singh assuming leadership of the IFFCO Phulpur Unit.
A seasoned official, Bhargava replaces Santosh Sukhla, who has been transferred to IFFCO MC. Renowned in the cooperative sector both in India and internationally, he previously served as the first Chairperson of the International Cooperative Entrepreneurship Think Tank under the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) and is an Executive Member of ICAO, the agricultural sectoral body of ICA.
A BITS Pilani graduate in Chemical Engineering, Bhargava has extensive experience in manufacturing phosphatic and nitrogenous fertilizers and developing IT-based solutions for cooperatives. His reappointment is expected to further strengthen IFFCO’s cooperative outreach and global engagements.
PK Singh has taken charge as the new head of the Phulpur unit, succeeding the outgoing unit head. He is expected to focus on production efficiency, smooth operations, and workforce coordination at the plant, a critical facility for regional agricultural inputs.
Singh’s appointment reflects IFFCO’s continued emphasis on strengthening management and enhancing performance across its manufacturing units.
