The first-semester contact classes of the 3rd batch of the Diploma in Cooperation and Banking Management (DCBM) were conducted on 28 and 29 September 2025 at Bengaluru and Belagavi centres.
The programme is jointly offered by Mahatma Gandhi Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University, Gadag, and Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. (KSSFCL), Bengaluru. A total of 38 online classes were completed prior to the in-person sessions.
At the Bengaluru centre, 93 students participated. The session was inaugurated by Sri B.S. Gundu Rao, Director, KSSFCL, while Managing Director Sri Sharanagouda G. Patil delivered the introductory address.
In Belagavi, 45 students attended. The session was inaugurated by Sri Suryakanth Ryakale, Kalburgi Regional Officer, KSSFCL, with Sri Basavaraj Hongal, Belagavi Regional Officer, delivering the introductory speech.
Final examinations for the first semester will be held in the fourth week of October at both centres.
