Ambassadors from 11 Latin American and North African countries visited Gujarat’s Anand district on Saturday to explore India’s cooperative and agri-tech capabilities.
The delegation toured the Amul dairy plant, a global model for cooperative success, and the Ray Nano Science & Research Centre at Mogar, known for its patented nano fertilizer technology.
Their visit coincided with their participation in the three-day Ayush Expo India held at Ahmedabad’s Vigyan Bhavan from September 26 to 28. Officials said the envoys showed keen interest in industrial collaboration, technology transfer and agricultural partnerships.
The Anand visit was organised to showcase India’s advances in dairy production, sustainable inputs and rural enterprise. The tour is expected to open new avenues for trade, research cooperation and investment in the cooperative and agri-innovation sectors.
