The 84th AGM of Shri Veershaiv Co-operative Bank in Kolhapur was held in a cheerful atmosphere, with strong member participation. The bank posted a profit of Rs 4.07 crore and maintained a low Net NPA of 0.73%, retaining its “A” audit rating.
Chairman Mahadev Sakhre announced a 10% dividend and reported that the bank’s total business has crossed Rs 2,000 crore, including Rs 1,163 crore in deposits, Rs 663 crore in loans and Rs 429 crore in investments.
Sakhre said a proposal to secure scheduled bank status will soon be sent to the RBI. The bank offers core banking, ATM, UPI, RTGS, NEFT, mobile and internet banking, and plans to launch doorstep services. Members also attended a cybersecurity session and felicitations were held.
