Representatives from Punjab Against Corruption and Lok Hit Mission have alleged large-scale embezzlement across 21 branches of the SAS Nagar (Mohali) Cooperative Bank, media reports say.
They accuse the bank’s Managing Director, Pragati Jagga, and several senior officers of involvement in the financial misconduct. The complainants have demanded an immediate inquiry by the Vigilance Bureau and the transfer of the implicated officials.
The allegations highlight concerns over potential misuse of funds within the cooperative banking system in the region. The bank has yet to respond to these allegations.
