Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Rajkot District Cooperative Bank and the Mega Cooperative Conference on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Racecourse Ground in Rajkot.
The program will also be graced by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukhbhai Mandaviya, who will be present as the guest of honor.
The event is being hosted under the leadership of Jayesh Radadiya, Chairman of Rajkot District Cooperative Bank, Rajkot District Milk Producers’ Union, Rajkot District Union of Cooperative Housing Societies, and Rajkot District Marketing Union.
The conference will feature several key activities, including felicitation of prominent personalities for their services, distribution of accident insurance claim cheques, and distribution of motorcycle loan cheques to beneficiaries. A Mega Cooperative Conference will also be held, highlighting the progress and contribution of cooperative institutions in the region.
Thousands of cooperative members, farmers, and representatives from across Rajkot district are expected to attend. The event will focus on showcasing the role of cooperatives in rural development, women’s empowerment, and strengthening financial inclusion.
Organizers said the program reflects the government’s commitment to promoting the cooperative movement, which has been receiving renewed focus under the leadership of Amit Shah as the first Union Cooperation Minister of India.
