Varachha Co-operative Bank was honored with the SCOBA Pride Award for 2024-25 by the South Gujarat Urban Co-operative Banks Association (SCOBA) for outstanding performance in business growth, profitable management, and social initiatives, media reports say.
The award was presented on September 6, 2025, in Darjeeling, West Bengal, in the presence of RBI Gangtok General Manager Ravishankar Goda. Bank President Bhavanbhai Navapara and Board Chairman Kanjibhai Bhalala received the accolade.
With over Rs. 6,000 crore in turnover across 28 branches, Varachha Bank leads in customer-focused schemes and social responsibility, including cybercrime awareness and savings promotion, underlining its commitment to innovation and community service.
