Madhya Pradesh Cooperation Minister Vishvas Kailash Sarang on Monday reviewed the State Cooperative Bank (Apex Bank), focusing on recruitment, district central banks’ finances, and preparations for Kharif 2025–26 loans, media reports say.
He instructed officials to ensure timely disbursal of zero-interest short-term crop loans and adequate fertiliser supply through PACS, while expediting their computerisation for transparency.
Sarang also stressed simplifying Kisan Credit Card operations and strengthening weaker banks’ finances. Principal Secretary DP Ahuja, NABARD CGM C. Saraswati, Commissioner Manoj Pushp, MD Manoj Gupta, and senior officials attended the meeting.
