Employees of co-operative banks will go on a strike on September 7. Employees of State Co-Operative Banks as well as Urban Cooperative Banks will be joining the nationwide general strike called by the All India Bank Employees’ Association and All India Cooperative Bank Employees’ Federation.
The cooperative bank employees are demanding among others bringing down prices of essential commodities and curtailing abnormal increase in inflationary trends; ensuring halt to disinvestments in the public sector undertakings and exercising restraint and abstain from diluting Labor laws to the detriment to the labor force.
Employees demand are going to cause inconvenience to the customer through out the country.
