Kangra Cooperative Bank, Delhi’s largest Urban Cooperative Bank (UCB), has achieved a significant milestone by crossing the Rs 2,000 crore business mark in the financial year ending 31st March 2025.
According to its latest audited results, the bank’s total business (deposits + advances) stood at Rs 2,081.20 crore, comprising Rs 1,317.73 crore in deposits and Rs 763.47 crore in advances.
The bank is headed by Laxmi Dass, who is also the President of the apex body of UCBs-NAFCUB.
The bank also reported a net profit after tax of Rs 6.84 crore, with a profit before tax of Rs 7.64 crore, underlining its strong operational performance and prudent financial management.
Its working capital touched Rs 1,485.49 crore, while share capital and reserves stood at Rs 45.18 crore and Rs 83.41 crore respectively.
Maintaining exceptional asset quality, Kangra Cooperative Bank recorded a negative Net NPA of -0.27%, and a robust CRAR of 13.71%, well above the regulatory minimum.
Serving over 43,000 members and more than 1.23 lakh non-member clients, the bank has reinforced its position as a trusted and dynamic player in the cooperative banking sector.
