A contact program for Souharda Cooperatives in Chikmagalur district was held on July 29, 2025, at Hotel Crystalline, Chikkamagaluru. The event was inaugurated by G. Nanjana Gowda, President of Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. (KSSFCL), with Manjunath S.K., Director of KSSFCL, presiding over the session.
The program saw participation from key district cooperative leaders, including Y.S. Subrahmanya and Devaraj, President and Vice President respectively of the Chikkamagaluru District Union of Souharda Cooperatives. An introductory address was delivered by Guruprasad Bangera, Regional Officer, KSSFCL, Mysore.
Following the formal session, retired Additional Registrar H.S. Nagarajaiah gave a talk on the rights and responsibilities of cooperative directors in ensuring financial discipline.
Nanjana Gowda also interacted with participants and handed over keys of Common Service Centres to two Souharda Cooperatives, marking a significant step in expanding cooperative services in the district.
