Revelation through RTI that the MP government had not followed rules in appointing the electoral officer for cooperative bodies in the state has caused anger among people.
According to social worker Ajay Dubey, one top ranking bureaucrat Prabhat Kuma Parashar who did not figure in the original list of names recommended has been given the job.
The govt. is subject to the charge that Mr Parashar’s appointment has been made in a dubious manner.The information is that the original list of names was not considered.
Sources say some citizens’ groups have expressed their annoyance at Parashar’s appointment and sought the state governor’s intervention in the matter. The buzz is that the matter may even go to court.
