The government’s flagship electronic National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) continues to expand, with 1,522 mandis integrated into the platform as of June 30, 2025. A total of 1.79 crore farmers, 2.67 lakh traders, and 4,518 FPOs have registered on e-NAM, facilitating a cumulative trade value of Rs 4.39 lakh crore.

e-NAM empowers farmers by allowing them to directly sell their produce to buyers, eliminating middlemen and ensuring better price realization. The platform offers real-time pricing, quality grading, online bidding, and e-payment options, enhancing transparency and enabling timely payments.

Mandis are added based on proposals from States and Union Territories, enabling a pan-India digital trading network that connects regulated wholesale markets. By promoting uniform quality standards, harmonized practices, and efficient logistics, e-NAM supports wider market access and digital integration for farmers.

This update was provided by Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ramnath Thakur, in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha.
