The Himachal Pradesh State Co-operative Bank (HPSCB) and the Himachal Pradesh Housing and Urban Development Authority (HIMUDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) last week at Sangti, Shimla.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Minister for Town & Country Planning, Housing, Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training, Rajesh Dharmani, along with HPSCB Chairman Davender Shyam, HIMUDA Vice Chairman Er. Yashwant Chhajta, HIMUDA CEO Surender Vashisht, Bank Managing Director Sharwan Manta, and senior officials from both the Bank and HIMUDA.

This strategic collaboration is aimed at enhancing and upgrading the Bank’s infrastructure at the Head Office, district, and branch levels, contributing to improved service delivery and better customer experience across the state.

The move is expected to significantly boost the bank’s operational efficiency and its physical footprint, especially in underserved and remote areas of Himachal Pradesh.
