The Cooperative Bank of India (COBI) organized an insightful training programme on “Cooperative Thoughts and Performance of Employees” for personnel of Gujarat State Cooperative Bank recently. The initiative aimed at enhancing the knowledge, skills, and attitude of cooperative employees to drive organizational growth.
In his inaugural address, Dr. V.K. Dubey, Managing Director of COBI, emphasized that training is a vital tool to upgrade the workforce by aligning their knowledge and behavior with cooperative values. He underlined the role of skill development in improving employee performance and fostering a progressive work culture.
The training covered diverse topics including cooperative values, value-based management, the importance of International Year of Cooperatives (IYC) and its action plan, and fostering healthy employer-employee relationships. Discussions also focused on employee behavior during working hours and the evolving role of the cooperative credit sector in supporting both micro and macro enterprises.
Participants actively engaged in the programme, which was well-received by the officials of Gujarat State Cooperative Bank.
