The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which collects over 300 lakh litres of milk daily through its 18,600 village-level cooperatives, is set to achieve a Rs 1 lakh crore turnover this financial year, said Chairman Shamalbhai Patel, media reports say.

GCMMF, the parent body of the Amul brand, currently has a turnover of Rs 90,000 crore. Patel highlighted Amul’s entry into international markets like the US and Spain with fresh milk and plans to expand further in Europe.
