The elections for the Gondia District Central Cooperative Bank are scheduled to take place on 29 June 2025. As per the final day of withdrawal of nominations, a total of 37 candidates remain in the fray for 17 seats.

Prominent NCP leader and current Bank Chairman, former MLA Rajendra Jain, has been elected unopposed from the “Salaried and Other Urban Cooperative Institutions” constituency. His opponent, Prafull Gopaldas Agrawal, son of former Congress MLA Gopaldas Agrawal, withdrew his nomination.

Similarly, in the Individual Constituency, current Congress-backed Bank Director Prafull Gopaldas Agrawal was also elected unopposed after NCP’s Nikhil Rajendra Jain withdrew his nomination from the same seat.

Earlier, during the nomination scrutiny stage, BJP’s Pramod Sangidwar was declared elected unopposed from the Deori Taluka Service Cooperative Group.

With this, one candidate each from Congress, NCP, and BJP has secured a seat unopposed in the upcoming elections. The remaining positions will be contested by the 37 candidates across various constituencies on polling day.
