As part of the celebrations for the International Year of Cooperatives (IYC) 2025 and to mark the International Day of Cooperatives, the National Federation of Urban Cooperative Banks and Credit Societies Ltd. (NAFCUB) will organize a seminar on “Importance of Good Governance and Cyber Security” for Board Members and Senior Functionaries of Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs) from Northern India.
The seminar will be held on 4th July 2025 at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, and is expected to host around 80–90 delegates from various UCBs.
The event will focus on critical themes relevant to the sector, including compliance management, risk management, digital banking, and cybersecurity challenges.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Cooperation, Reserve Bank of India, and the Cyber Crime Branch of the Government of India, along with other banking experts, have been invited to share insights and best practices.
There is no participation fee, and NAFCUB has encouraged all UCBs to take advantage of this valuable learning opportunity by nominating their delegates at the earliest.
The seminar aims to promote strong governance practices and digital resilience in the cooperative banking sector.
