NACOF Chairman Ram Iqbal Singh paid a courtesy visit to the GUJCOMASOL headquarters in Gandhinagar, where he was briefed on the cooperative’s operations. He was received by veteran cooperator Dileep Sanghani, who currently chairs GUJCOMASOL, the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), and IFFCO.
Established in 1960, GUJCOMASOL serves as Gujarat’s apex agricultural marketing federation, offering key services such as the supply of agro-inputs, procurement and distribution of farm produce, warehousing, and essential consumer goods to support farmers across the state.
Singh, a senior cooperative leader who has previously headed the National Consumer Cooperative Federation (NCCF), appreciated GUJCOMASOL’s role in advancing farmer welfare. The meeting also explored potential areas of collaboration between NACOF and GUJCOMASOL to enhance service delivery and cooperative integration in Gujarat’s agricultural sector.
