Tamil Nadu handloom cooperative society also called cooptex has shown a big spike in retail sales in recent months.
Cooptex has exactly netted three hundred million rupees so far in the current fiscal, said K.V. Manoharan president of Tamil Nadu hand-loom cooperative society.
Mr Manoharan said the handloom cooperative society has been doing very well and its performance would continue to improve in the days ahead. It has had retail sales worth hundreds of crore in the last fiscal, Mr Manoharan noted.
Knowledgeable sources say, Cooptex is a successful cooperative body and is growing by leaps and bounds.
