The International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) recently held its online board meeting to advance key governance and strategic priorities.
Dr. Chandrapal Singh Yadav, President of ICA Asia-Pacific, joined from Jhansi, India, while Mrs. Savitri Singh, Deputy Chief Executive of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), participated as an observer.
The meeting’s agenda included approving previous minutes, reviewing Membership Committee recommendations, and discussing the ICA Strategy for 2026–2030. Proposed amendments to the ICA Articles of Association and Internal Rules were also considered.
Preparations for the upcoming ICA General Assembly, scheduled for July 2, 2025, in Manchester, UK, were a focal point, aligning with the UN’s International Year of Cooperatives.
These deliberations aim to strengthen cooperative governance and set a clear direction for the movement’s future.
