Malankara Multi-State Cooperative Credit Society Limited (MMSCCS), India, has recently become the newest member of the International Cooperative Alliance Asia-Pacific (ICA-AP).

Operating across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, MMSCCS serves over 65,000 members with a dedicated team of nearly 600 employees.

On his society becoming a member of ICA-AP, Jisso Baby, Chairman of MMSCCS, expressed his enthusiasm, ‘We are excited to become members of ICA-AP and look forward to exploring new business opportunities and partnerships. We view this as a valuable step toward growth.

In 2023, the society received national recognition from Banking Frontiers for excellence in leadership in the PACS/Credit Societies category. MMSCCS is also committed to sustainability through its “Go Green” initiative, which aims to distribute 10 million saplings. The society actively supports farmers and artisans through two dedicated subsidiaries.

For the fiscal year 2024–25, MMSCCS has reported a business mix of Rs 903 crore, comprising both deposits and advances. Through its membership in ICA-AP, the society aims to strengthen global cooperation and further promote cooperative values.
