Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced a goal to raise Madhya Pradesh’s share in national milk production from 9% to 20%, emphasizing full utilization of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) expertise.
Reviewing progress on the NDDB-MP Dairy Federation agreement, Dr. Yadav called for simplified processes to import high-yield cattle, value addition before exporting milk products, and wider consultancy for both cooperatives and private dairies.
The state plans to expand dairy cooperative societies to 50% of villages within five years, boost infrastructure, digitize the dairy value chain, and promote dairy-related education and animal welfare.
