The Union Ministry of Cooperation Secretary Dr. Ashish Kumar Bhutani chaired a virtual meeting on Tuesday with key stakeholders to review and discuss the action plan for marking the International Year of Cooperatives (IYC) 2025.
The meeting was attended by Managing Directors, Chairmen, Secretaries, Registrars of Cooperative Societies (RCS), and officials from cooperative federations across States and Union Territories.
During the discussion, Dr. Bhutani emphasized the timely execution of planned activities and urged all stakeholders to ensure the prompt submission of reports. He also encouraged the adoption of innovative approaches to enhance the visibility and impact of the cooperative sector during the IYC celebrations.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Cooperation, including Siddharth Jain, Anand Kumar Jha, and Dinesh Kumar Verma, all Joint Secretaries, participated in the meeting along with other key representatives.
