The Reserve Bank of India has won the Digital Transformation Award 2025, instituted by Central Banking, London, for its digital initiatives Pravaah and Sarthi, media reports say.
Sarthi, launched in January 2023, digitized RBI’s internal workflows, enhancing document storage, record management, and data analysis. In May 2024, Pravaah streamlined regulatory applications for external users, integrating submissions into the Sarthi system.
The award recognizes RBI’s collaborative efforts, including extensive training through Sarthi Pathshala and support from senior nodal officers and Sarthi mitras, ensuring a smooth transition to digital operations.
