Union Minister of State for Cooperation, Murlidhar Mohol, chaired a high-level review meeting on cooperative societies during his maiden visit to Sikkim last week.
He emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening cooperatives and promoting Sikkim’s organic brand through schemes like NCOL, NCLA, and NCDC.
SICUN Chairman Mangal Jit Rai praised the Minister’s innovative ideas, while officials presented SICUN’s progress.
The visit, attended by senior officials, concluded with a review meeting, with the second day set for project inspections in Pakyong District. Mohol assured full cooperation from the Centre for Sikkim’s development.
