The total value of the procurement stands at Rs 2.39 crores, ensuring fair pricing and streamlined distribution.
As part of the process, the Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) earned a commission of Rs 32 per quintal, amounting to Rs 3.29 lakhs, reads a post of Nafed on its official facebook handle.
This initiative reinforces the role of FPOs in strengthening the agricultural supply chain while benefiting farmers with better price realization and transparent procurement systems.
