IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U.S. Awasthi visited JIFCO’s Sulphuric Acid Plant along with the Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan H.E. Dr. Jafar Hassan, on Sunday.
During the visit, Dr. Awasthi held significant discussions with the Jordanian Prime Minister on the production of high-quality sulphuric acid, foreign investment in Jordan, and the development of cooperatives.
Dr. Awasthi and the Prime Minister also toured the JIFCO Fertiliser Plant, where they reviewed ongoing operations and future expansion plans. The Prime Minister appreciated IFFCO’s contributions to Jordan’s economy and acknowledged its role in fostering bilateral cooperation.
H.E. Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Thanibat Al-Akram, Chairman of JIFCO, along with other board members, was also present during the discussions and plant visit.
Additionally, Dr. Awasthi and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JPMC, H.E. Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Thanibat Al-Akram, inaugurated the JPMC Clinic for the employees of the plant.
