Shri Renukamata Multistate Co-op promotes women’s health

Ahmednagar (Maharashtra) based Shri Renukamata Multistate Co-op Urban Credit Society recently organized a Haldi-Kumkum program at its headquarters, coupled with a women’s health camp conducted in collaboration with Prayas Group, Nana-Nani Group, and Surabhi Hospital.

The event aimed at promoting women’s health and empowerment.

As part of the initiative, around 300 women received free medical check-ups, while various competitions were held for participants, with prizes distributed to winners.

Speaking on the occasion, Jayanti Bhalerao reiterated the organization’s commitment to empowering women economically and highlighted the welfare schemes being implemented for their benefit.

Dr. Sulabha Pawar emphasized the importance of health awareness among women, encouraging them to prioritize their well-being.

The program was presided over by Aniruddha Devchakke, an expert director of the society.

Other notable attendees included Dr. Vaibhav Ajmere, Dr. Sulabha Pawar, Narendra Ankush, Prayas Group Founder Alka Mundada, Chairperson Rajni Bhandari, Nana-Nani Group Chairperson Jaya Gaikwad, and Renuka Bhalerao.

The event successfully combined social and health initiatives to further the society’s mission of supporting women in the community.
