The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Madhya Pradesh conducted raids at multiple locations linked to retired cooperative bank assistant manager Anil Suhane in Ujjain.
The searches revealed assets valued at over Rs 6 crore, including a three-story building in Basant Vihar, a four-story commercial property on Indore-Ujjain Main Road, and a 2,300 sq ft plot in Kshipra Vihar.
Suhane, who began his banking career in 1991 with a monthly salary of Rs 3,000 and retired in December 2024 with a total income of Rs 70 lakh, is under investigation for possessing disproportionate assets.
