Union Minister for Cooperation Amit Shah will inaugurate the first Bru Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society at Ambassa on December 22 during the state’s first Cooperative Conference, announced Minister Shukla Charan Noatia.

Speaking at the state secretariat, he said the society, managed by newly settled Brus, will operate market stalls inaugurated by Shah. Several initiatives will also be launched, with most inaugurations conducted virtually.

The main event, starting at 3:30 PM, will feature Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, MP Biplab Kumar Deb, Mayor Dipak Majumder, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, and representatives from cooperative societies.

Key highlights include 18 cooperative stalls, a mobile van donation by the National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation, ATM facilities for 50 Primary Agricultural Societies, a cooperative-owned petrol pump, and two MoUs for development.
