A delegation of Delhi Chapter of Sahakar Bharati led by Sunil Gupta met with Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Devender Yadav to discuss pressing issues related to the cooperative sector.
The delegation also submitted a memorandum highlighting their concerns. “Yadav was supportive of our efforts and assured to lend all help in reviving the declining cooperative movement in the state”, said Gupta on phone, soon after the meeting.
Yadav assured the delegation that the party would incorporate these issues in its manifesto and seriously consider the suggestions provided by the Loktantrik Sahkarita Manch.
The delegation included Sunil Gupta, Convener of Loktantrik Sahkarita Manch; Anil Kumar Mathur, Co-Convener; Pravesh Kumar Gupta; Vishnu Pal Bansal, General Secretary of United Thrift and Credit Cooperative Society Federation; Shiv Shankar Gupta, State General Secretary of Sahakar Bharati; and Pushpendra Kumar, Treasurer of Sahakar Bharati.
