The elections for Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) have been announced and will be conducted in five phases from 26th November to 3rd December 2024. An official notification has been released by the Bihar Cooperative Election Authority.
Polling for the first phase will take place on 26th November, followed by the second phase on 27th November, the third on 29th November, and the fourth and fifth phases on 1st and 3rd December, respectively.
For the upcoming elections, nominations for the first phase will be held from 11th to 13th November, according to the tentative schedule released by the Bihar State Authority. Nominations for the second and third phases will be held from 13th to 16th November and 16th to 18th November 2024, respectively.
There are approximately 8,600 PACS in the state.
