The Udaybhansinghji Regional Cooperative Management Institute (URICM), Gandhinagar, launched its 2024-25 placement drive on October 16, 2024. The event was inaugurated with the release of the Recruitment Guide by esteemed guests Dr. Dinesh Goswami, Director of Research and Development at Western Bio Seeds, and Mr. Haresh Mehta, Director of Finance at the same company.
During the ceremony, Dr. Goswami emphasized the importance of personal development alongside academic qualifications in today’s competitive world. Mr. Mehta highlighted the significance of proper guidance and networking for career success.
URICM has upheld a consistent record of 100% student placements. According to Dr. A.K. Asthana, Director of the institute, 10% of students have already secured placements in the micro-finance industry in the initial phase of the drive.
Several national and multinational companies are expected to participate in the upcoming phases. Dr. Asthana reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to continuing its tradition of 100% placements, providing students with the necessary resources to not only secure jobs but also thrive in their careers.
