The government has introduced regulations for the registration, incorporation, and management of cooperative societies in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, says media reports
The Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Co-operative Societies Regulation, 2024, was promulgated on Monday by the Legislative Department of the Union Law Ministry.
This regulation repeals the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, and the Gujarat Co-operative Societies Act, 1961, which were previously applicable to these territories.
