The Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) in Pune is hosted an important training programme for personnel from Indian Potash Limited (IPL) and the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) on August 28-29, 2024. This two-day event aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of professionals in the Western Zone of India.

The programme was officially inaugurated by a distinguished group of speakers. Shri U R Tijare, Senior Marketing Manager at IFFCO (Pune), Maharashtra, opened the event with a warm welcome to the participants. He emphasized the significance of continuous professional development within the cooperative and agricultural sectors.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Hema Yadav, Director of VAMNICOM, who underscored the crucial role that effective marketing strategies play in the agricultural sector. Her insights set a motivational tone for the sessions to follow.

Following the keynote, Dr. R.V. Singh, State Marketing Head of IFFCO Gujarat, and Dr. Sayaji Patil, State Marketing Head of IPL Maharashtra, provided a thorough overview of current trends and future directions in marketing services within the cooperative sector. Their presentation aimed to equip participants with advanced strategies and best practices.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Rajneesh Pandey, Head of Marketing Services at IFFCO. He expressed gratitude to all the speakers and participants, acknowledging the collective effort in promoting professional growth and collaboration within the sector.

This training programme brings together officers and personnel from four states – Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh – representing the Western Zone of India. The initiative highlights the commitment of both IPL and IFFCO to strengthening their workforce and advancing organizational goals through targeted training and development.

Over the next two days, trainees and officers can look forward to engaging sessions, interactive workshops, and valuable networking opportunities. The programme is designed to address current challenges and explore innovative solutions to improve marketing and cooperative management within the industry.
