The Odisha High Court has stayed an order disqualifying T Prasad Rao Dora from his roles as a member and president of the Odisha State Cooperative Bank (OSCB), media reports say.
The order, issued on August 9, 2024, by the OSCB managing director, was based on a letter from the registrar of cooperative societies citing financial irregularities.
Justice KR Mohapatra, after hearing submissions from both sides, found no evidence of disqualification and granted an interim stay.
The matter is scheduled for further hearing on October 4, 2024.
