In a major step towards enhancing rural development in Rajasthan, the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has inaugurated five new District Development Offices. Dr. Rajiv Siwach, Chief General Manager of NABARD Rajasthan, led the opening ceremonies for these offices located in Churu, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jalore, and Kotputli-Behror.

These offices are designed to address specific regional needs and will act as pivotal centers for implementing NABARD’s rural initiatives. The new facilities are expected to support farmers, rural entrepreneurs, and local communities by improving credit planning, agricultural sustainability, and economic development.

The inauguration, which saw participation from district administration, government officials, and other stakeholders, marks a significant expansion in NABARD’s operations. Last fiscal year, NABARD disbursed Rs. 29,270 crore in Rajasthan, contributing to various developmental projects and financial literacy programs.
