Uttar Pradesh Cooperation Minister JPS Rathore reviewed the progress made in regard to the target allotted to the cooperative department for planting 7.60 lakh trees under the tree plantation campaign 2024.
The review was held through video conferencing at the premises of UP State Cooperative Bank.
He said that under the massive tree plantation campaign, the officers of the Cooperative Department should make every possible effort to achieve this target and ensure the participation of public representatives in this. They should also create public awareness to save the planted saplings, he urged.
The Cooperation Minister instructed the officers to complete all the preparations for plantation during the tree plantation campaign before 19th July.
On this occasion, the Cooperative Minister planted a sandalwood sapling in the bank premises. Apart from this, Chairman UP Cooperative Bank Jitendra Bahadur Singh, Principal Secretary Cooperation Rajesh Kumar Singh, UP StCB MD R K Kulshreshtha also planted one sapling each.
